Top Achievers in the National Literacy Project Competition".

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University today honored the winning students in the competition for "Students with the Highest Achievements in the National Literacy Project".

New Achievement: Faculty of Education Congratulates Winners of Best Master's and PhD Thesis Awards 2025

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University extends its sincere congratulations to its distinguished researchers for winning the "Best Thesis Award" in the field of Educational Studies for the year 2025.

This honor comes in recognition of the quality and contributions of their scientific research, where:

Mr. Mahmoud Gaber (Assistant Lecturer) and
Ms. Dina Kamal (Assistant Lecturer) won the Best Master's Thesis Award.
Dr. Alshimaa Khalid won the Best PhD Thesis Award.

Faculty of Education Honours "Ambassadors of Excellence" for Qualifying for the Egypt Government Excellence Award 2026

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University held a ceremony to honour the "Ambassadors of Excellence" team, in recognition of their exceptional efforts that led to the faculty qualifying to represent the University in the Egypt Government Excellence Award for the year 2026.

The honoured "Ambassadors of Excellence" team includes:

Faculty of Education at Helwan University Ranks First for the Third Time in the Literacy Project

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University has secured the first place at the university level for the third consecutive time in the National Literacy Project for the academic year 2024-2025. This achievement came in accordance with the results of the General Authority for Adult Education, confirming the Faculty's leadership in the accomplishments of the University’s students in this vital project.

The Faculty, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Elsayed Kandil (President of the University) and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Walid Elsorougy (Vice President of the University for Community Service), contributed to the literacy of more than 4450 individuals over three consecutive examination cycles, with the participation of approximately 920 students.

The project is led by:

Prof. Dr. Menna Abou Hashima: Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
Prof. Dr. Walaa Mohamed Salah El Din Mohamed: Coordinator and General Supervisor of the Project at the University.

Continuous Achievement for Five Years: "Educational and Social Studies" Journal Scores the Full Mark (7/7)

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University is honoured to announce the success of its journal, "Educational and Social Studies", in achieving the full mark (7/7) in the Supreme Council of Universities' evaluation of Egyptian journals, for the fifth consecutive year.

Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty, affirmed that this success reflects the collective effort and dedication in work, extending his gratitude and appreciation to all members of the Editorial Board, the journal's Secretariat, and everyone who contributed to maintaining this distinguished level in scientific research.

First Place Win: Faculty of Education Tops Helwan University's "Environmental Festival"

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University achieved a new milestone by securing first place at the university level in the Environmental Festival Competition.

This distinguished victory came thanks to the efforts of the Faculty's "Friends of the Environment" family, who skillfully represented the Faculty in the festival's activities. Faculty of Education Congratulates Winners of the Best Master’s and Doctoral Thesis Award 2024

The Faculty of Education at Helwan University extends its sincere congratulations to its distinguished researchers for winning the "Best Thesis Award" in the field of Educational Studies for the year 2024, in recognition of their innovative and high-quality research.

Assistant Lecturer Nouran Saleh: Winner of the Best Master’s Thesis Award.
Dr. Amira Mohsen: Winner of the Best Doctoral Thesis Award.

Foreign Student Creativity: Omani Student from the Faculty of Education Shines and Wins First Place in the "Egypt Through the Eyes of its Sons" Competition

The family of the Faculty of Education at Helwan University, led by Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy (Dean of the Faculty), extends its sincere congratulations to the student Zainab Hilal Saeed (from the sisterly Sultanate of Oman) for winning the first place in the "Egypt Through the Eyes of its Foreign Students" competition.

This victory comes in line with the directives of Professor Dr. Elsayed Kandil (President of the University) to provide the utmost care and attention to foreign students. The competition was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and was monitored by Dr. Alia Fikry (Faculty Foreign Students Coordinator).

research Achievement: Prof. Dr. Talaat Mahmoud Hassan Among the Top 40 Researchers at Helwan University

Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy (Dean of the Faculty of Education) extends his sincere congratulations to Professor Dr. Talaat Mahmoud Hassan (Professor in the Department of Technical and Industrial Education) on the occasion of him being ranked seventh among the top 40 distinguished researchers at Helwan University.

This honour came in accordance with the international classification of internationally published research, which affirms the prominent research contribution of Prof. Dr. Talaat Mahmoud Hassan.

The Faculty wishes him continued success and advancement in his scientific career.

Great Success for the Faculty of Education’s 21st Scientific and 4th International Conference

Professor Dr. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Helwan University, announced the success of the Faculty's 21st Scientific and 4th International Conference, which was held over two days, February 21st and 22nd, 2024.

The Dean affirmed that this great success was the fruit of strenuous and unified efforts by all members of the Faculty, starting from the esteemed professors and teaching staff, moving through the distinguished assisting body and loyal administrators, down to the active workers and students.
